Andando alla ricerca della mia strada, ho iniziato a progettare e realizzare oggetti per gioco e curiosità finché nel 2021 mi sono diplomato in Product design allo IED di Cagliari e da allora sono un designer freelance. Lavoro e collaboro con aziende e con studi di progettazione di prodotto, grafica, architettura e allestimenti, continuando parallelamente le mie personali ricerche e lo sviluppo di progetti più strettamente legati al campo delle energie rinnovabili.
Sin dai primi momenti della formazione ho cercato di guardare il mondo con più consapevolezza, provando un forte interesse per le complesse questioni che riguardano il tema della sostenibilità. Questi concetti mi accompagnano nel lavoro cercando di percorrere un sentiero di progettazione sostenibile provando ad offrire, con un pizzico di ironia, un personale contributo e il giusto rispetto al mondo che ci ospita. Amo le forme pure ed essenziali perché permettono di raccontare l’anima delle cose. Sono incuriosito da come dialogano forma e funzione e da ciò che un oggetto è in grado di trasmettere facendosi testimone della nostra appartenenza culturale, della nostra identità e unicità. Penso che ogni oggetto abbia la capacità di raccontare una storia, di parlare di persone, di tempi e luoghi, di nuove e vecchie esigenze e il rapporto tra tutti questi aspetti.
Searching for my own way, I started designing and making objects for fun and curiosity until I graduated in Product design at the IED in Cagliari in 2021 and have been a freelance designer ever since. I work and collaborate with companies and product design, graphics, architecture and exhibition design studios, while continuing my personal research and the development of projects more closely related to the field of renewable energy.
From the earliest moments of my education, I have tried to look at the world with more awareness, feeling a strong interest in the complex issues surrounding the topic of sustainability. These concepts accompany me in my work as I try to follow a path of sustainable design trying to offer, with a touch of irony, a personal contribution and the right respect to the world that hosts us. I love pure and essential forms because they allow the soul of things to be told. I am intrigued by how form and function dialogue, and by what an object is able to convey as a witness of our cultural belonging, identity and uniqueness. I think that every object has the ability to tell a story, to talk about people, times and places, new and old needs and the relationship between all these aspects.
